- Starting from a very young age Corey was very versatile with his talents and also very involved with his church, singing In the youth choir and playing bass at the First Church of God in Columbus, Ohio Clearly destined to become a star, Corey recently entered a contest organized by Chris Stokes (responsible for the likes of B2k, Marcus Houston, and Omarion) called “I Wanna Be A Star” through You Tube. He won by a landslide receiving millions of votes from fans all over the world that loved his original sound.Corey Jarell is the first and only unsigned artist to be put into Hitz radio dot coms rotation.His single“Fallin For U” was rated number one for more then four weeks straight; Corey beat out other popular songs byfamous artists such as Justin Bieber, Ke$ha,Jason Derulo, and Iyaz for the number one spot. With performances at numerous sold-out shows, opening up for acts such as Bobby Valentino, Trey songz, and T- Pain, Corey has an extraordinary drive to be the best at whatever he puts his mind to and he is headed for a long and illustrious career as an artist.
